Endodontics London | Endodontist Harley Street | Root Canal Treatment Harley Street | Tooth Abscess West London W1
Root canal treatment is also know as Endodontics.
Inside each tooth root is a 'root canal' that contains a nerve (or
'pulp'). This nerve can become inflamed, for example as a result of
decay or trauma or for no clear reason. If left to form an abscess,
this would be very painful so our Endodontist will carefully remove all
nerve tissue for the root canals. Low dose digital x-rays are used
during root canal treatment and are instantly visible on screen.
At our practice on Harley Street (London, W1) our team uses a high
magnification microscope to show the inside of the roots as they work
to achieve the best results. Once clean, the root canal is filled and
sealed so that no bacteria from your mouth can get back in.
