Minimal intervention dentistry conserves
as much of the natural tooth as possible,
and has been described as 'dental treatment
at a low biological cost'. The current focus
on aesthetics and beauty can result in the
irreversible preparation of healthy tooth-substance.
It is very important that we consider any
treatment alternatives that would save precious
