Treatment Options

Broken tooth: a tooth or crown that has been damaged or displaced is probably the most common cause of a dental emergency and it should be seen to as soon as possible as it can cause damage to the living tissue contained inside the tooth.

Lost tooth: if a tooth has been knocked out it might still be possible to save it, so contact us immediately and we can give you advice on how best to preserve the tooth in advance of your emergency treatment.

Jaw damage: if you suspect your jaw is badly damaged or broken then you may need to visit your local hospital first.

Tooth or gum pain: although there are a number of reasons for chronic tooth or gum pain, it is likely to be an infection. Rinse your mouth with warm water until your emergency appointment and try and clear any materials or debris trapped in the teeth by using dental floss.
