Dr Farid Monibi
Farid is one of the most caring, thoughtful men you could meet. He will put you at ease and fill you with confidence that everything is going to be fine – and it will. A consultation with Farid is always relaxed and informative; he will explain all the options for treatment so that you can make an informed decision.
Farid qualified from Guy’s Hospital in 1997, and following hospital posts in oral & maxillofacial surgery, restorative dentistry and paediatric dentistry, he enrolled in a four-year postgraduate course in prosthodontics at Guys.
He gained his MFDS at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and went on to complete his master’s in Clinical Dentistry in prosthodontics. He has been awarded MRD RCS England and MRCS Eng. He gained his extensive prosthodontic experience in practices in London and Oxford, and at Guy’s Hospital.
His main areas of interest are dental implantology and minimal intervention cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry. Since 2008, he has run a yearly series of implant seminars (‘Implants in Theory and Practice’) in collaboration with his friend and colleague Hatem Algraffee. He is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology and the British Society for Restorative Dentistry.
Farid is happy to accept the referral of patients for specialist prosthodontic care, such as complex anterior crowns, veneers, implants and removable prosthetics.
